Rev. Dr. Doug Fairbanks, Jr.
36 years in pastoral/preaching ministry in Holston and Western North Carolina Conferences.Presently serving on the Boards of Trustees for Gammon Theological Seminary and Hiwassee College and is the Holston Conference Cabinet representative for our Conference Council of Finance and Administration. Originally from Chattanooga. Academic degrees from University of Tennessee Knoxville, Master of Divinity from Interdenominational Theological Center/Gammon Theological Seminary, Atlanta, Georgia and Doctor of Ministry from Graduate Theological Foundation, South Bend, Indiana. U.S. Army, Vietnam veteran. Married to Carolyn Brown of Abingdon, Virginia for 39 years. Carolyn is a teacher and at Norwood Elementary School. Doug and Carolyn met at Hiwassee College.
